Introduction

This HANDFUL pinch pot making workshop is for anyone who is looking for new inspiration to work creatively while training the awareness for the process. Maybe you are longing to use your hands again for creation after being busy in your head for too long. Or you simply want to learn something new. What ever it is, you will appreciate this workshop.

No skills or experience needed.

What you get

This is a workshop with ceramic artist Anke Buchmann. The session is offered in a 60min in person class outside if the weather allows it. Anke will guide you through a mindful process of creating pinch pots, following the HANDFUL method. It's an ancient technique of creating pots in a very intuitive way. With the HANDFUL method it becomes a conscious process in which breathing and gesture are synchronised. You will end the session with a clear mind and a self made pinch pot out of air-dry clay. No firing needed.

Included in the workshop:

  • Air-dry clay, ca. 250g
  • An inspiring and calming experience for new energy
  • Your self-made pinch pot (no firing needed)
  • Potentially new friends and insights
