Clay is very body-like. We find ourselves in clay. And clay behaviours can be found in ourselves.
We experience all kinds of emotions that are looking for an outlet. Clay is a ideal medium to express what is inside and to discover new insights in the final shapes.
Anger was one of the emotions that I felt in the body after being forced to write with my non-dominant hand for years. As an adult I chose to drop the anger and use that energy to learn to write with my left hand.

The sculpture "exhaustion". Informed by a body memory this cube was shape with one gesture, recalling the sensation of exhaustion in the body and transforming it into clay.
